RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to safely enter and work in confined spaces (e.g., tanks, pits, silos) across the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. Training covers planning, hazard identification, atmospheric monitoring, correct use of PPE, applying lock-out/tag-out procedures, and maintaining communication with a stand-by person as per the Confined Space Entry Permit.

MSMWHS216 – Operate breathing apparatus

This unit teaches the skills and knowledge needed to safely operate and maintain breathing apparatus in irrespirable or hazardous atmospheres. Training covers pre-donning checks, correct donning/doffing, monitoring air use, fault management, and concluding operations in line with procedures and standards.

RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights

The Work Safely at Heights course (RIIWHS204E) is a nationally recognised program that equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to identify risks, implement control measures, and safely perform tasks at height. Training covers the planning, equipment selection, and practical techniques required to prevent falls and maintain compliance with Australian WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.

Participants will gain hands-on experience using height safety systems, including harnesses, anchor points, and fall protection equipment, while learning to conduct risk assessments, inspect gear, and apply safe work procedures. This course is suitable for anyone required to work at heights across the mining, construction, maintenance, and infrastructure industries.

TLIF0009 – Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)

This unit addresses the legislative, regulatory, and operational responsibilities within the transport supply chain under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). Participants will learn to identify, apply, and adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, manage risks around vehicle mass, dimensions, fatigue, speed, load security, and report breaches according to workplace procedures.

TLIF0080 – Implement and monitor the safety duties of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)

This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to monitor and implement safety obligations within the transport supply chain under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). Participants learn how to identify and manage risks relating to fatigue, mass, load restraint, speed, and vehicle standards, ensuring compliance across all parties in the chain of responsibility.
