Course Overview

The RIISS00034 Surface Extraction Supervisor Refresher Skill Set is a nationally recognised program designed for individuals who already hold the Surface Extraction Supervisor qualification and need to maintain their competency and currency in accordance with mining and quarrying industry standards.

This refresher course ensures supervisors remain current with changes in legislation, industry practices, and safety requirements under the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 (Qld) and the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 (Qld). It reinforces key supervisory responsibilities, including risk management, communication, and incident investigation.
